Modular and efficient
Element Construction
Almost 20 years ago, Holzbau Reuteler started producing chalets in prefabricated construction.
The now extensive knowledge helps us to use all the advantages of the element construction. Our goal was clear from the beginning: The wall elements must be brought to the construction site with the highest possible degree of completion. Only then the advantages of this technique benefit the customers.
Element Construction
The advantages
The connection details are worked out much earlier and can be coordinated in a more optimal manner.
Due to the ideal working conditions in the workshop, we achieve the highest quality levels.
The construction time is shortened enormously because many tasks can be completed in parallel. For example, elements can be clad while the contractor is working on the foundations. Many electrical and sanitary installations in the partition walls can already be performed in the workshop. This enormously reduces the time needed for the shell construction installations.
As most of the work is done in the workshop and working hours in the factory are cheaper than on the construction site, costs are reduced.
We are convinced that this is the most efficient production method for most buildings. For this reason, we set up an assembly table for prefabricated elements in the workshop in spring 2013.
While the contractor is still pouring concrete floors, we can prefabricate the wall elements in our carpentry workshop. This saves up to one and a half months of overall construction time.
Thanks to our prefabrication system, which allows us to prepare the wall elements ahead of time in our workshop, we can shorten the construction time by up to one and a half months. We are one of the few carpentry in the Saanenland to use this technique so consistently.
